Iexplore.exe process hangs after installing Norton Security Suite 4.2

 

I have the same problems this other guy is having.  I have to kill the iexplorer.exe in the task manager.  I have only installed Norton Security Suite 2 days ago.  The IE8 will hang almost every time I start it.  If I kill it in the task manager, it will recover the tabs and be fine.  It usually only happens when I first start each new IE8 session. I previously had McAfee and when license ran out, I uninstalled it and got the free Comcast version of Norton Security Suite.  I did NOT customize the install and let Norton determine the proper protection.  IE8 has the Norton plug-ins installed.  I do not what to disable them unless I have too.  I am a pretty experience PC user.  Has this been vetted by Norton yet?
