Image of Hard Drive

I just installed N360 V 4 because I was told it now would make a complete copy of my hard drive on a removable hard drive.  I can't figure out how to tell it I want to copy all of the files on the /C: drive.  In the "Where" tab it recognizes the removable drive I want as the destination - no problem.  It just will not recognize ALL of the files on the /C: drive.

When I upgraded from NSW to N360 originally, I kept NSW on my system so I could use the "Save and Restore" function in NSW.  Do I have to keep this on my system to back up my hard drive or is there some way to get N360 to do it?

Thanks for your help...

Hi,

Norton 360 is only capeable of backing up you files and folders, but not capeable of creating full partition / HDD images.

If you have no compatibility issues between S&R and 360, I would suggest you to keep using S&R.

Norton 360 does not make system images, it is only a file and folder backup tool.

If you have "save and restore", thats an older version of Ghost and should work fine as long as you removed the older version of norton anti-virus so it does not conflict with 360

Not the answer I wanted to hear but sounds like the best thing is to keep backing up with SAR.  My intent is to be able to back up the entire disk in case I have a hard drive failure or a virus that destroys the contents of my hard drive.

I really appreciate you guys answering my post so quickly with solid information.  I should know better than to listen to salesmen in a box store...

Thanks again...
