This is day two of me trying to contact Norton to get a refund of my purchase.
I have tried probably 8 or 9 times over the last day and a half of contacting Norton. I get to the point where it is going to 'connect me with a human agent' and nothing happens. I wait, and wait and wait (for up to half an hour) before just giving up. There is no indication of where I am in the queue or if they are even checking their systems.
This morning, I was given a 1800 number to call ... and guess what? I got the message that the number was not valid - and yes, I double checked that I had the right number.
Plus I could not find any email addresses to send my query to.
In other words, you can't contact Norton!
The reason for seeking the refund is because I found the Norton program quite annoying to use. The pop-ups are driving me crazy and don't offer a solution to shut them down, so I want to back to Malwarebytes which suffered none of these problems and works well.
Now that I've had this experience, I'd add that to the reason for seeking the refund. I'll give this post a couple of days to see what comes back, but I am minded to leave a review which they won't like - for good reason. Let's see what they do.
Thanks for this. This took me down the path of filling in a form, which i was happy to do. Except that it would then require me to send the form by snail mail to the US!
How bad is that? I buy the subscription at a retail outlet in my home town, and the solution to getting a refund is to send a form to another country!?? That's just insane. It would probably work but its really putting up barriers when most people would probably just give up.
If you were charged for the annual renewal of your subscription and want a refund, contact Member Services & Support...and you could not contact Support.

UPDATE: Thanks BJM. The first time I called that number, I got booted off! I tried again and around 15 mins later, spoke with someone and it looks like it'll be fixed. Really appreciate your help.
