Improving the compatibility with the newsgroups sections of Windows Live Mail and Windows Mail

I'd like to see a change to offer at least some improvement with the newsgroups sections of Windows Live Mail and Windows Mail.  If any malware is detected in a *.nws file, DON'T just delete that file.  If you are unable to get enough information from

Microsoft to delete any pointers to that file from the index files, shorten it to 0 bytes or overwrite it with a message about why it was removed, with this message in *.nws format.  If you simply delete the file, Windows Live Mail will simply download another copy, over and over, until it is able to open that file.  Windows Live Mail and Windows Mail appear to need that modified file to have the same file name as before, and the same starting point on the hard drive, so that they can take it as a signal no more copies are needed.

This may not give enough compatibility with the newsgroups sections, but at least it's a step in the right direction.
