please stop advertising through the programm interface of Norton itself - its annoying and leaves a bad taste, for a programm thats actually made to protect you from unwanted Ads etc.

What program are you running that is made to protect you from unwanted Ads etc.?

Its mostly from the latter situations you state and even here ( The smart scan pop up). I dropped MacFee because of the pop ups and push adds in App. I have done all the settings changes that there is and no real solution.
Yes…users have reported “done all the settings” and “observed no real solution”.
Caveat: I try to avoid Smart Scan. I try to ignore Norton marketing.
