First, can someone please tell me how I find out which NIS I'm running? The version is given as 10.2.0.30 but no year is given.
My problem stems from iTunes being blocked accessing the internet. Trying to solve this, I deleted the entry allowing iTunes in the firewall and now cannot add it again. I'm running Vista, so have to go through the user permission dialogue to configure the firewall (click 'yes') - navigate to iTunes.exe and click 'Open' - select 'allow' and click 'OK' and nothing happens - iTunes does not appear anywhere in the list of programs, allowed or blocked. Can anyone help? I have looked at the Norton firewall activity log and there are several instances of iTunes preparing to access the internet, followed by lines to the effect that the default action is to block, all during the last couple of days when I have been experiencing this problem. p.s. iTunes internet access used to work OK before the latest live update!
