Starting about an hour ago, whenever I attempt to go to a web page, be it google.com, mozilla.com, cnn.com, bing.com, or anything else (i.e. legitimate sites) I keep getting a malicious web page warning saying that I need to click a link to afantispy.com (which I know is fake) and purchase the (fake) antispyware there. (I had just gotten this computer on Thursday, and it came with a free 30-day subscription to Norton.) I ran a full scan with Norton, but Norton didn't find anything. Nevertheless, I keep getting messages saying that xxx.exe cannot be run because it is infected. I attempted to go to online support with Norton, but when I do that I just get messages saying stuff like regsvr32.exe cannot be opened because it is infected, etc.
So I've run a full scan, and it said it took care of all the threats it found, but I'm still getting these issue with browsing the web, being unable to connect to online support, and the messages saying that several EXE files are infected.
