Incessant notifications

I have used Norton for years but I have never been so continously pestered with your notifications. I have turned off marketing notifications and every day you send an alert about buying something. How do i stop this?

I"m sorry I renewed.

@annamagnani Unfortunately that is the new Norton, there isn’t a way to change any settings to disable these because that ability has been removed. The ability to stop most of these are long gone, they will not return for customers anytime in the near term, if ever.

Some users think the latest version 25.xx release has improved to the point of being stable. Functional. That may be the case in some ways, the facts are, pestering notifications have only gone from bad to epically worse. My solution was and is, I reverted back to the version prior to the version 24.xx release and am staying on it. Until, the new product either gets its act together or it is apparent that isn’t going to happen. We are now into month # 8 since the ver. 24xx release so personally, I am 99% convinced we are seeing what Norton wants to serve up to paying customers. Its here to stay.

All I did was renew Norton 360 and put it on a brand new laptop with awful WIndows 11. Norton sends the new notification constantly to put on something to clean up broken registry keys etc. had i known i would not have renewed. Does the version matter? thanks

All CURRENT Norton Security and Norton 360 releases, after version 22.24.8.36, with or without LifeLock, will send notifications for that. Its a sell-up.

is there any way to get rid of the blue dot that sits on the icon even after alert has been read?

can i not get rid of the blue dot once i have read the alert. they send the exact same alert almost every day. I won’t be using Norton when it expires. It’s great to harass people. Really thoughtful.
