When I run a full system scan through Norton Internet Security 2008, it only scans ~7000 files when it's completed.
Normally there would be over a million files scanned which it actually was about a week and a half ago. (No findings)
I also keep getting a Norton popup that says either firefox or internet explorer or svchost is attempting to access the internet using one or more unrecognized modules "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\SKYNETdlbcxyfr.dll"

But that particular file doesn't seem to exist when I look in that folder. I'm beginning to suspect it may be the W32.Ackantta.C@mm virus since it describes a SKYNET********.dll being put on the computer, but when I try to follow the removal guidelines on symantec, nothing follows the pattern. None of the registry values supposed to be there or deleted are.
Any advice or instructions? Thanks in advance!
