Detailed description: When right-clicking on a file, there is a choice to scan the file for viruses using Norton. After clicking on this selection, nothing happens.

@Beefsupream Unlike the previous versions of N360, v24 doesn’t show file and folder scan results if you have Informational Notification muted. You need to disable the mute. Be forewarned though, you’ll likely be barraged with all sorts of informational notifications if you unmute. Another way to verify that the file or folder was scanned is to check Security History. The scan will be logged as Explorer Scan and you can see the details by clicking on the arrow to the right of the entry. See below. Either way you choose to check, the process is more cumbersome than before.
The notification that @bjm posted doesn’t pop up if Informational Notification is muted. At least on my computers and if you unmute it, it’s like opening the floodgates.
