Searching through the boards, I saw this question asked way back in April of 2010 and nobody answered. I am having the same problem. Norton Insight runs EVERY DAY even though I have it turned OFF. It slows down my computer for between 30 and 60 minutes when it does this and I don't like my system being hijacked like that.
When I open Task Manager, ccsvshst.exe is running and I am not allowed to kill the process. Why does Insight run when it is not supposed to? I also have my computer set to Full Scan.
I don't know if you need to know any specs but I am running Windows XP. My computer has 3GB of RAM and contains an Intel Dual Core with 2.8Mhz processors.
