Insight Question

I am sorry Allen........I did not know that these many things can happen on my post.

I am a 62 year old man and I just wanted to know the details of the scenario when Norton Insight works.........I got it.

I am very much satisfied with NIS 09........just wanted to know about Insight........no intensions of hurting anybody

Thanks everybody who replied .

I love NIS.........and particularly the helpful members of this community

Those who want can continue posting

No problem with your question michael0.     The problem is that we had a member that resorted to name calling in their reply.   Unfortunitly, this spoiled the party for several people whos good words had to be removed in the process.

Hey everybody,

This Norton Insight.......is a hot......issue!!:smileyhappy:

Watch it next time around....:smileyvery-happy:

TrDo.

The main question that I have is, what file system(s) do have installed on your drives(s)? The Insight data is only saved across reboots on drives that are formated using NTFS. If you have a FATxx drive, the information will be lost when you shut down or reboot the machine.

Thanks Reese :

I just checked my file system .

I have 4 drives on the hard disk ..........3 of them are with FAT32 file system and one with NTFS.

So that may be the problem.

So problem was with my system and not with NIS09(I was expecting the same..........wow)

Thanks a lot......I congratulate Symantec staff for producing 2009 series......It is the best.

Keep it up !!!!!!!

Hi Reese :smileyhappy:

My Hard Drive Is - NTFS

However!

Norton Insight .. Does not work once my computer has been - OFF ... Then Back - ON :smileysad:

I would either have to...

a) Leave my laptop on 24 hours a day - For Norton Insight to work.

b) Run a Full System Scan .. Then run a 2nd Full System Scan - To see Norton Insight at work.
