Gentlemen;
We are a very small (and poor) electronics surplus business, and I am the service tech / jack of all trades. My boss recently purchased a five-copy version of your new Norton Security to replace the soon to expire Norton 360 we have been using for the past year. In attempting to install the product on one of our computers which had been using Norton 360, I received a notice that the product could not be installed because the computer CPU did not support the SSE2 instruction set. This particular machine is used because it runs a printer that none of the more modern computers will run. I believe it uses an Athelon K7 CPU, and though it is slow by today's standards it performs a necessary function in our business. Is there a patch available to let us install NS anyway, or another product we can use in place of NS for our fifth install which will give us at least minimal protection?
