Last week a Norton rep unstalled NIS 2012 and installed NIS 2012. During the process of deleting old files, something seems to have deleted that shouldn't have been. On the last restart during the process, my Found New Hardware Wizard (Windows XP) came up. And it continues to come up every time I start the computer. I do not have any new hardware. And the Wizard cannot tell me what the hardware is.
I have had no luck with fixing this. Does anyone have any idea what happened? I may never let a Norton rep have control of my computer again!
