Hi Tugger,
Welcome to Norton Community!

Thanks for jumping in with help for another user but we often need to find more information first!
For example there are 4 different subversions of N 360: Standard & Premier and each of those in "normal" and Netbook so before give a user a link we need to know which version they are using since the KEYs are not interchangeable.
Here's my boiler plate on N 360 ....
Did the new computer have any other security software on it? If so what is it; if there was and if you removed it how did you remove it? Apart from the normal uninstalling nearly every security program has a special cleanup tool on its website that you can download and run after the normal install. Let us know first and we can point you to the right tools to use including one for Norton products if you had one installed -- like the trial versions that come on new computers. If they are identical to what you want to install now you may not have to clean up and we can tell you the shortcut.
New N360 V5: Click on the link that matches your version:
Norton 360 v5 Standard: http://www.norton.com/n360s_5/ << version with 2GB of online storage
Norton 360 v5 Premier: http://www.norton_com/n360p_5/ << version with 25GB of online storage
Norton 360 v5 Standard Netbook Edition: http://www.norton.com/n360sne_5/ Netbook Edition << version with 2GB of online storage
Norton 360 v5 Premier Netbook Edition: http://www.norton_com/n360pne_5/ Premium Netbook Edition << version with 25GB of online storage
Make sure you get the right version since the keys are not interchangeable. SAVE the file where you can find it -- do not run it from the download site when Windows asks what you want to do.
You can download that file on any computer and transfer it to a thumbdrive to install on another.
When it asks you to activate it you can click on Renew and enter the key there.

That's why I gave the KB link which has download option for all varients..

Right ... I knew that but I'm used to my boilerplate ....
I do think it's important these days to put something in about removing anything preinstalled and cleaning up even if it may not be a new PC, unless we know it's one that installs over the top OK.
