This morning upon starting my computer I noticed "inststub.exe" running in the task manager along with only one instance of nis.exe and the NIS icon was missing from the taskbar. I tried to launch NIS from the start menu but nothing happened. I went to the Norton update center and when I ran the auto detect tool from Norton to check for updates it said there were no Norton products found on my computer! My subscription expires next November or December. So I am current. Does anyone know what is going on? TIA
