Internet disappears after Norton VPN is turned on

Norton VPN connects, but immediately after that nothing opens in any browser for various reasons, including not being able to find such a site. Regardless of the protocol used (WireGuard, Mimic, OpenVPN).

Product & version number: Norton VPN Ultimate 25.8.10387 (build 25.8.10387.948)
OS details: Windows 7 Ultimate (x64)

The problem is not with the VPN itself, but apparently with some other function of the application, because when you turn on the AdGuard VPN, the same error occurs.

Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.
We can’t connect to the server at example.com.

Do you have the Kill Switch feature enabled? If so try turning that off, restart computer and test.

Kill Switch was disabled, then enabled and disabled again, and today the VPN does not connect at all since the system startup.

It it is happening with two different VPNs, it would seem to be an issue with the website or your DNS settings. Try clearing the DNS cache and test. How to Flush Your DNS Cache to Fix Annoying Network Issues | PCMag

I was able to get AdGuard VPN working, and after performing a restore on Norton VPN, the problem also disappeared.

It makes me wonder if there was something to do with the second VPN app being installed that might have corrupted the Norton VPN settings.

Glad to hear you were able to resolve it this time.

Both VPNs were installed a long time ago, but only Norton VPN is updated.

Can you share what you did to get AdGuard VPN to work? Might help others with similar/same issues.

Apparently, after Norton VPN updated to a new version on Thursday.
