I run Vista SP 2. Prior to installing Internet Security 2010, tech support ran the Norton removal tool, removed NIS 2009, Ghost, and Norton Utilities - plus manually removed all registry items related to Norton. However, now with the install of NIS 2010, Internet Explorer 8 crashes upon opening with the following message: “Internet Explorer has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.” I have read on these forums that this issue has been previously solved by an update, but I am still unable to use IE 8. Please help!
