I need help!
My computer has become infected with something called the "Internet Security 2010" virus. This malware manifests iteslf as a virus protection software that is telling me that I should run and purchase the full version of "Internet Security 2010" It essentially starts all kinds of pop-ups and applications that take over control of my PC (Windows Vista). It is extremely difficult to stop the process once it's running, as the virus seems to make the Task Manager option from the ctrl-alt-del screen completely disappear.
So here's what I've done already. I stopped the process (using a program called 'rkill'), ran live update on my Norton package, then ran a full scan. My Norton Internet Security catches the virus and calls it the "CoreGuardAntivirus2009". It then prompts me to restart my computer to finalize. When I restart, the "Internet Security 2010" programs start right back up as though nothing has changed.
I don't know if I've run into a new variation of the "CoreGuardAntivirus2009" that manages to get around my Norton Protections, but the simple fact that this version calls itself something different (and includes 2010 in the name) makes me nervous that it's a new version. A quick search for "Internet Security 2010 virus" turns up several similarly placed users and some potentially helpful screenshots. ...though I will avoid any linking for obvious reasons.
Any suggestions?

Suggest you start by downloading and running the scanner from Malwarebytes here
Thank you. That appears to have resolved the issue. For your assistance, I have decided to name my first born child Yaso Kuuhl. All joking aside, I very much appreciate your quick response and willingness to help.
As you requested, my malwarebytes log file is attached.
Hi hgamble3,
I strongly recommend that you refrain from naming your first child Yaso Kuuhl, however, thank you for the compliment
I think you forgot to attach the log :-D You can edit your post (if you have not run out of editing time) and attach the log to it.
If you feel that your issue has been completely solved, then you can mark this thread solved by clicking on the grey "Accept as Solution" button of the post that solved your problem, that way other viewers know that this thread is closed and will find this thread faster when using the search engine.
Moved to Norton 360 Board for better exposure.
