After I do a scan,in my history activity always shows that my "IP address has disappeared from adapter Teredo Tunneling Pseudo Interface and is no longer being protected -----".Aswell as that it also shows "IP address has disappeared from adapter Broadcom NeXtreme Gigabit Ethernet and is no longer being protected--------"Can anyone tell me what this mean's,or why it's happening???-By the way I use Sky for my internet connection.
To get you the best advice, would you give us some more information about your system:
What version of Windows are you using including Service Packs and whether 32 bit or 64 bit as well as the Name and Version ID of the Norton product that you are using -- Help or Support / About is where that is, in the format of nn.nn.nn.nnn where n is a number.
Please also say what internet browser you are using -- name and version number ...
Just for those who can help -- Sky is a UK based ISP and is a satellite setup? Please give some more information about how you connect.
Hi paowie1,
You do not need to worry about these log entries - they are normal. Whenever you connect to a network the firewall notes it in the logs. When you are no longer connected, such as when you shutdown and are no longer connected to the internet, that is noted, too. You are seeing the firewall reporting that the network connection it was monitoring is no longer there, and therefore it is no longer being protected. That's all these entries mean.
Thank you very much. This has put my mind at rest:manhappy
