Why does Norton Internet Security count an iPhone or an iPad as a license when you do not get the full functionality of the software? All you get are redundant functions to what Apple already provides.
I agree. It is annoying and borders on false advertising.
The information is there on the Norton NMS web page. Just scroll down and click on the IOS tab.

Wish I had read this about 5 minutes ago before activating a subscription to iPhone. This is annoying.
It registers because you chose to install the product.. As you say, Apple provides the same functions, and they work better.
Best to remove it from your iPhone and save the activation for some other device that can actually use the product.
