iPhone issue with Norton Internet Security Suite (Constant Guard)

I have Norton Internet Security Suite through Comcast which is my ISP.  A few days ago I got a message from Comcast/Norton stating that my ISP had discontinued my service and that my computer was not protected.  I immediately called Comcast and they stated that the old version had expired and I needed to reinstall the new version from the Comcast ISP website - which I did.  Before I installed the new Suite, I had my phone set to automatically transfer any new pics from my iPhone to my computer as soon as it was plugged in and it worked beautifully.  Since I downloaded the newer version of Norton (Constant Guard) my computer no longer even prompts me to transfer the pics from my phone to my computer.  I am assuming that this has something to do with a setting in the Firewall but I have no clue what.  Can anyone help me?

Thanks,

Donna

I do not own an iphone, nor do I have much knowledge in this area - however, it is my understanding that the iphone has to be unlocked when it is connected to the PC - amazing what a grand daughter tells folks.

Hi Donna,

It seems that the Norton might be blocking the data transfer between the devices. So we can try to give permissions for the itunes software. Click on Settings and under settings click on Firewall. Under firewall you can see there will be a lot of tabs click on the Tab that says Program Rules. Under Program Rules you can find iTunes if you find it Under Access click and drop down the menu and try to give permission as Allow instead of Auto. Check this option and let us know if this worked.
