Issue abstract: IPhone US VPN connection issues

Detailed description:Having connection issues with my iPhone and Norton US VPN sites. It seems like the only US VPN site that my iPhone wants to connect to is in Missouri. I have many times lost connections and have issues with reconnection. I can instantly connect to the Canada location with no problems. It seems like the Missouri location does not have the bandwidth to support the number of connection requests it is receiving. And why is the Missouri location the only one my iPhone is trying to contact. My iPad makes connections to a Texas location and another on the eastern seaboard with no issues.

What is the error message you are seeing? No error message - just failing to connect to US VPN - I have tried to disconnect power my device down, then power on and reconnect - keep getting the same issue.

Are you actually located in the US? If so, what setting do you use for the VPN region? Using Fastest Location is supposed to connect you to the current best connection for your current location. Not sure how choosing United States would work.

I am in the US, Ohio. I was using the United States setting, actually did not see the fastest setting until you mentioned it. I had a problem connecting previously and probably started using the United States setting after that problem. I have switched to using the Fastest Location setting and will monitor. Thank you.

Still seeing disconnects periodically but reconnection does not seem to be the issue it was before.

How often would you say you are seeing the disconnects?

Irregular intervals, but it happens sometimes when I am on an app without knowing that it disconnected.

If the app stops responding, that could indicate that the VPN feature has detected that the VPN connection has been interrupted. It kills internet connection until you can restore the VPN connection.
