Hi everybody,
yesterday i decided to upgrade my nis 2012 (19.9.1.14) to nis 2013 (20.4.0.40) with a clean install. I deleted my old version, then i used NRT and then i installed nis 2013.
No problems at all ... 18 downloads during first liveupdate, other 4 downloads during the second liveupdate and then nis 2013 was running ok ... but ...
But then i decided to look at the full history of nis and i've seen that the "ips definitions set" was still dated 20130402.001 (???) ... so i controlled the liveupdate details and i discovered that no new "ips definitions set" was automatically downloaded and installed...
I've tried to run liveupdate more and more times but nothing changed.
So today i decided to return to my old nis version using a disk image ... that image was captured the 24th of july.
Everything run ok but when i tried to run liveupdate no new ips definitions set was downloaded and my nis 19.9.1.14 now has an old 20130720.001 set (the last one downloaded before taking the image).
Why is impossible (only in these days) to upgrade the ips definitions set? server problem?
