I use AdFender ..... I don't notice any memory hits .... or many advertisements ......

Just checked out their website briefly and it seems to indicate that AdDefender works on all the major browsers. :smileyhappy:  AdBlock Plus only works on Firefox and Chrome.

Adblock Plus is also available for Opera so You can also try that browser.
