is it a virus ?

hello  everyone

the problem started when a couple of days ago I tried to burn a few files on my samsung dvd optical drive. no way I could burn them even though I use other compatible media writers for that optical drive.

i came to conclusion there were 3 plausible explanation: optical drive is defective or perhaps because of this as early as one year whenever is something wrong i use Acronis recovery image that I made after I installed fresh Windows 7 and there were possible errors coflicts faults with windows and image recovery or probably i have a virus.

the steps i have made so far is that I tried to restore the system to its previous state with acronis and error was the same for optical drive, then I format a whole computer and flashed the bios and the optical drive firmwired - the situation was the same. then I decided to put second optical drive nec and replaced the optical drive samsung. After trying to burn some files on media with dvd, i got the error like before.(sth like buffer overburn or in short dvd writer didn t burn the media succesfully)

i came to conclusion  that with both optical drives nothing is wrong and i think that I also eliminated the fault that could be with recovering a Windows image.

i tried scanning with Norton Internet Security and nothing was found i Also tried third parties using the rescue disks from Kaspersky, AVG, bit defender and norton and nothing was found.

on my computer I have installed  ssd which  is primary partition and 2 SATA disks in RAID 0 mode where i have all family files, which I dont want to erase with secure format.

can Someone tell me how i can solve this problem and what could be Wrong - is it a virus?
