I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 8 this morning. Clean install, reinstalled Norton Internet Security 2013 after logging into Norton Management through IE 10. I removed my Windows 7 pc, as it doesn't exist anymore, which left all 3 of my installs open. I let Norton Management install NIS 2013 and restarted Windows 8 after NIS activated itself. After the restart, all of a sudden NIS 2013 was no longer activated. Each time I tried to reactivate it, it stated I used up all activations. I uninstalled NIS, restarted my pc and ran the removal tool before repeating another restart, reinstall and attempt to activate NIS 2013. After 5 rounds of this b.s., I've given up, as I'm sick of wasting my valuable time on shabby software.
It's real nice that since the 2013 versions have come out, the only support links are for this forum, as NATHAN is still worthless.
Gee, I think it's refund time/Bitdefender/Kaspersky time.
I guess, I wasted my time a while back doing Symantech's over the phone survey to improve their products. They've gotten worse, instead of better this year.
