Is Norton 360 blocking access to my NAS?

I’ve tried EVERY solution I can find to get my WD EX4100 NAS to be accessed by win11. The kit is all of two months old. Connecting to the NAS on win10 was click, click, done. The NAS uses SMB3. SMB1 is enabled in win11. File sharing and network discovery are on. ALL devices are on the same network. File explorer can plainly see the NAS but WILL NOT allow access. Mapping drives does NOT work because win 11 won’t allow it. All Norton 360 setting are the same defaults as on my win10 boxes.

So, how do I overcome this latest feature from mictosoft? Or maybe it would be simpler and easier to install Linux Mint. At least it WORKS!

@LilBro Have you reviewed this WD support article? Does your Norton history show the firewall blocking access? Does Windows itself give any indications ( popups or notifications) ? Do you have a local or MS account for log into Windows and is it admin?
