Is Norton 360 Identity Safe safe, and does it encrypt your data?

Personally, I have many accounts and sometimes it is really frustrating and annoying to type in my user-name and password every time I go into a site that requires it. Fortunately, I got Norton 360 Identity Safe which saves me a lot of time altogether.

Does Norton 360 Version 2.0 Identity Safe encrypt your...

- Log Ins?
- Identity Cards?
- Notes?
- Passwords?
- And everything in it (personal, financial information etc)?

And if it does use encryption, what type of encryption method does it use and is it actually safe?

Thank you very much for your help!

Yes ID Safe is safe. It does encrypt your data; it is not kept in a .txt file, that is for sure. I do not know what type of encryption, it is probably a propitiatory method.
