I have peerblock installed and it keeps blocking the ip 54.200.1.15 which is Amazon EC2. My computer is communicating with this address every 2-3 minutes all day long. I have tried to find which program is communicating with this server, but I cannot find it. The only company that I found to have close ties with Amazon AWS cloud server was Symantec and this is why I am here. I have tried killing the NIS process with task manager to see if the communicating stops but everytime I kill it, it will restart again. The only way for me to stop NIS from loading would be to uninstall it and I do not want to do that. Can anyone please tell me if the passwords that are kept in Norton Identity Safe are stored in the Amazon EC2 cloud server and NIS communicates with it all day long. Thank you in advance.
