Is it correct to assume that these days just about every anti-virus product has access to current threats and signatures of viruses, trojans, spyware, etc.?
I appreciate that anti-virus tools can differ on how their engines function, which can translate into different CPU loads, even one to a few percent difference in real-time detection rates (which tend to vary among top competitors on a monthly basis), etc.
In the case of NIS, is it fair to assume that the sole primary difference, regarding strength against threats, say between NIS and the new MS Security Essential, is SONAR?
