Is there a way for Norton to block calls on my Magic Jack phone that is connected to my desktop computer?

My Magic Jack only blocks 99 phone numbers.  Am wondering if any of the Norton products can help me

block unwanted calls I receive through Magic Jack on my desktop computer, and even possibly identify robo-

calls/spam calls?

Thanks for your help!

Interestingly enough our spam rate has fallen drastically in the last 2-3 weeks and I'm wondering if the "phone companies" are actually paying attention to the FCC "instruction" do something to limit them, especially the Unknown Caller ones and the robocalls (mine mostly seem to start on the top line with what looks like a letter V... and clearly spoofed but realistic, often local numbers,

We are on the "Do Not Call" registry

The only effect we noticed after doing that was an upsurge in the number of spam calls .... Spammers were reputed to use the Do Not Call listing they have to buy if they are publicly in business and use it ...... as a list of numbers to call!

Thank you for your help!  We are on the "Do Not Call" registry and I check weekly to make sure we're still there since we get so many of these calls!!  I will check out the site and see what it says.  Thx again!

I don't know the answer to your specific question but someone will and should be around shortly.

But have you thought of installing NoMoRobo although I don't know whether it works with your Magic Jack

I've asked a moderatortomove your query to Tech Outpost where it is more likely to get an answer since that section is for technical stuff not (directly) related to a Norton product.

It may help to know what version of Norton you have installed.
