Hi,
I scanned and NMS alerted ’ DitheredHoloBackground_1.0’ being a malware.
This is a useful Xposed module that I installed today only and I don’t wanna uninstall it now
Is it a false alert by NMS?

Thank you
I sent a report as you suggested… Hope they sort it out soon.
Also note that current versions of NMS will alert you to "other threats" that are not actually malware, but rather privacy risks (due to the data they collect from your phone). Many of these could be things you actually want the app to do (for example I just stared getting such an alert for the extremely well-known note-taking app, Evernote, because it collects login information on other accounts--so it can integrate with other popular cloud-based services; becasuse I trust the app, I told it to ignore it).
But others--especially if you got the app from someplace other than the Google Play store--might be mildly useful apps designed to cover for collection of sensitive or valuable (e.g., to sell to marketers) information off your device by requiring permissions not truly needed for the app's purported functions.
So let the buyer beware...but bottom line, if you trust the app, that's your choice.
