Right after updating to 22.7.0.75, I got a Norton pop up message titled "internet explorer protection alert". It said that there were Norton security features for Internet Explorer that weren't enabled yet. The message gave me the option to Enable these Features, Remind me again later and don't show me this again. Since I don't ever use IE (and I mean ever), it made sense that there might be new Norton features that work for IE like the ones that work for Firefox. So I wasn't sure it was really a Norton message. I had a problem (like a number of people have had so far) with the update and had to actually reset my comp to an earlier restore point which cleared all of the problems. However, as soon as I did the Norton update again and completed it, I got that Norton pop up again. So clearly it was associated with the update. So can someone here confirm for me that this banner is actually a Norton pop up message so I can stop freaking out??? As soon as I closed the message I got the same action center message red flag errors that many are having right now. I just need to know it was actual from Norton before I open IE (which was just updated via Windows Updates) to enable these Norton features. Thank you
