Whenever I compile my source code—written by me—and run the executable files for the first time, “Download Intelligence” kicks in and reports to me that the executable file had been scanned thoroughly, and it is safe to run. I find it quite annoying because I wrote the source code. Thus, scanning it for any malignancy every single time is a waste of compute and time. Decidedly, closing the Norton window every time is awfully painful.
I tried disabling the “Download Intelligence” feature, and it worked like a charm; The Norton window that used to bother me has disappeared, just as I intended, but the delayed execution of the executable files that are run for the first time did not vanish. For some non-apparent reason, an initial delay in the execution of executable files that are run for the first time still persists.
Besides that, I do not want to disable the “Download Intelligence” feature altogether; It is of paramount importance to me, especially when reckoned that I have a tendency to download stuff that I shouldn’t. Can someone please suggest a good workaround to not disable “Download Intelligence” but also don’t have to be bothered by the stupid window that pops up every time? Hopefully, if the initial delay in the first execution of the executable files is curtailed, that will be much better.
