A few days ago in another thread https://community.norton.com/en/comment/6386431#comment-6386431 I mentioned that Bing had made itself my default search provider, this despite my having clicked on the box to prevent such a change.
Today I've found that the Norton search box is no longer there, that Norton is not listed in my search providers in 'Manage add-ons' and, even worse, Norton is not in the Microsoft Gallery of Search providers (nor in the 'search for more' there. [I followed advice given here in the past and went to http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/change-choose-internet-explorer-search-provider#1TC=windows-7
http://www.iegallery.com/en-gb/addons?callback=true&featuretype=2
I don't want Bing, I don't like Bing and I recently uninstalled Bing after it snuck in under an update (Firefox?) - a check just now via Revo shows it's gone.
Below are screenshots in case they help but what do I do next, please? Why isn't Norton in the Microsoft Gallery? Am I missing something?
PS When Browsing for the third snip via the IMCE Explorer stopped working and I lost everything. Thank you whoever set up the Auto-save function!
