Hi,
I would like to ask Symantec: I have an XP computer, which hasn't been turned on since 5th July 2012, if I run LiveUpdate now, will be this faulty patch installed? Or is it pulled down for the LU servers?
Thanks!

There is an announcement here which includes a workaround: http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-Internet-Security-Norton/Potential-bluescreen-after-applying-July-11-rev-18-definitions/td-p/756788
Hi yank,
Thanks for the link, I only ask this because if the bad patch is still being pushed, I won't use that computer. (I have another computer with Windows 7)
Edit: Here's why I think it's been pulled down (but I'm not sure):
"The problem has been identified as a compatibility issue in SONAR definitions released July 11th at 6:25PM PT. Once the cause of the issue was discovered the signature was removed from the definition set and an updated definition set was published. This “rollback” of signatures was done on July 12th at 2:51AM PT. Once the signature was rolled back no new issues were reported from customers." link
Note that the issue occurs with the interaction with the following products:

Hi Thomas_K,
Thanks for the link, so the update isn't on the LU server for NIS/NAV 2012?
Or is pulled down only for Symantec Endpoint Security?
Thanks
