Kein automtischer USB Scan V25/ No automatic USB scan Norton V25

Seit dem Update auf Version 25 funktioniert der automatische USB Scan nicht mehr. Zurücksetzen und das Ein- und Ausschalten haben nicht geholfen. Hat jemand eine Idee, wie das wieder funktioniert. Windows11, letzte Updates, Norton V 25.1.9816 (Build 25.1.9816.906)

Since the update to version 25, the automatic USB scan no longer works. Resetting and switching on and off didn’t help. Does anyone have an idea how to make this work again? Windows 11, latest updates, Norton V 25.1.9816 (Build 25.1.9816.906)

and by “Resetting” … you mean Reset to Default?
do you have W11 Fast Startup enabled?
Have you run Norton LiveUpdate + Restart (not Shut down) machine?

You may need to run LiveUpdate and reboot a few times before your product is completely updated to the latest version.

any chance you clicked Don’t offer to scan external devices?

• as I recall with v24 here…Reset to Default re-offered Scan for threats Note: I’ve not tested with v25
• I’m seeing External drive connected → Scan for threats with v25.1.9816

1. Yes, I meant I made a reset to the defaul settings
2. I have found this issue on 6 Computers, mine and 4 of my friends.
3. I never pressed the button from your screenshot
4. If I go in the menu “Customized Scans”, I find my USB-Stick and can scan them manually, but not automtically. Is this a bug of V25?

If your Norton is not working as expected after you’ve tried Reset to Default & Repair Norton & clean re-install Norton 360…then…reach out to Norton support.

fast Startup is disabled. I am speaking about Win11.
I restarted several times, no change. In V24, USB sticks have been scanned automatically. But as I wrote above, I am not alone with this issue. I thought, that someone has found this behaviour already before.
New installation also without any change.

I follow Norton Community daily. I’ve not heard nor found this behavior.

Da die Neuinstallation keine Änderung gebracht hat, scheint es ein Bug zu sein.
Diesen Bug kann man direkt an Norton senden.
