After I posted yesterday about people getting away with serious cyber criminal activity, I was still angry. Today I read an article that gave me a little needed perspective on the topic. It takes a while for our case law and precedents to emerge and give judges a standard for punishing modern cyber criminal activity. Step by step, we need to get convictions and assign appropriate punishments for those who use electronic forms of stealing, harassing, tampering and so forth.
Hopefully the fun I'm having at BlogHer08 (a blogger convention in San Francisco filled with fiesty women and a few fierce men) will help me maintain.
