After previously reporting recieving large definitions files of over 50 meg, once again I find on running live update this morning I recieved what I consider to be a fairly large update. I connected to the internet this morning after being offline for 18 hours and I noticed that the defitions files were over 27 megabytes, They were as follows: Norton 2010 IPS definitions, Norton 2010 definitions (duplicate) Norton 2010 whitelist, Norton 2010 web protection definitions, Norton 2010 whitelist. Notice two instances of Norton 2010 IPS definitions, this has happened before. I cannot see why there should be two instances of Norton IPS definitions appearing at once when running live update, nor can I understand why the definitions are so large. I’m beginning to have concerns about this. I would appreciate it if someone can explain this to me.
