LifeLock Norton Hell

I received the new LifeLock customer agreement in my e-mail and didn't like part of it, so I tried to login to my LifeLock account to cancel.  You cannot login, you are locked out, until you click "ACCEPT" to the agreement upon attempting to login.  Calling the number in the LifeLock agreement to cancel the membership, 1-800-543-3562, sends you through voice repsonse hell before being able to talk to a live agent.  After multiple, redundant security questions the agent cannot cancel since LifeLock was purchased through Norton, so she gave me a Norton number to call: 1-800-745-6034.  Voice response hell again before an agent sent me back to LifeLock.  Congratulations!  You've reached the beginning of the loop!  After an eternity of this nightmare to simply cancel a membership I finally reached Shiri Deep in a Norton chat window who was able to refund and cancel.  

Amazing.  Lifelock cannot cancel your membership if it was purchased through Norton and Norton sends you back to LifeLock if you call the Norton number to cancel.  The lesson here is not to purchase any software that is partnering with Norton because both companies throw you back like a tennis ball to the other company.  You guys are really screwing up.  I have better things to do in life than to spend two hours cancelling a software subscription.

Forgot to mention another miff.  The Norton backups somehow have duplicated the drives on my pc.  So I recommend you watch for that.  Using updated Windows 10, I now have Drives:  C:  D:  E:  F:  J  and C: D: E: F J.  So I'm eager to see if anyone else has experienced that.  Maybe it's part of a USSR plan ....could be worse I guess. 

Here Here!!  Ive used Norton a long time.  And until this summer really liked it.  I have also used Lifelock for several years, in fact was just recently able to watch and protect my identity and get a loan for a new furnace.  But now Lifelock is not operating like it did.  It's like someone took it over and blew it up.  And Norton is having a hell of a time using the Identity Vault options.  I have to work five times as hard to use it.  I've been so miffed.  So I'm about ready to ditch both.  A friend has offered me an extra copy of his protections plans which are rated higher than Norton and I'm about to take it unless I can find a simple, clean cut expaination without popup adds.  And I'm a Mozilla 57 user. 

I have Norton INTERNET security and Identity Safe.  That is all I want.  I keep getting bombarded with these stupid ads for Life Lock.  It's like Norton is trying to nickel and dime me to death withal their other products.  I recently signed up with ID Shield which is a better product than Life Lock.  So leave me alone with al your ads.  I did not sign up for your ads.  your suppose to be protecting me.
