I'm a stage lighting designer/operator using a 3D visualiser CAD software called "Light Converse" to build and program stage shows.
You can download a demo of the program here: http://www.lightconverse.net/lc/download-l.htm (To run the full version you need a dongle.)
The program has a continual "ws.reputation.1" false positive problem. I reported it a couple of months ago to Norton and it was put on Norton's list of "safe programs".
Now however every time the program automatically updates when I reboot the program it gets detected by Norton Internet Security as "ws.reputation.1" and is unfortunately deleted from my computer.
When the problem happened again I reported it to Light Converse but they don't want to listen, despite many customer's complaints, and repeatedly insist that ""LC is clean".
Apparently there is a problem with the excutable file, I don't have a problem with any other program on my computer.
It's getting very annoying repeatedly re-installing the program and excluding it on Norton, only to have it deleted the next time I open the program. I also permanently lost some work.
Any Ideas?
Thanks and regards,
Peter
