Ok, first of all I apologize if I posted this to wrong place, but apparently the Malware discussion site was closed.
So, back to my problem. For few days now, I haven't been able to access Linkbucks websites at all, because apparently my Norton 360 detected this malevolent trojan attack from there, trojan.adclicker. Now, I know that Linkbucks among other similar websites (adfly for instance) uses Ads that might really have real malevolent files that are threat to the computer, but it hasn't been a problem for me, since I usually block those Ads with extensions.
After Norton detected that malevolent file, it automatically blocked the whole Linkbucks website, so that I can't access it anymore.
Is there any way to bybass that blocking, so that Norton would simply keep blocking that trojan.adclicker file but it would also let me access the Linkbucks website? I always ignore those Linkbucks Ads anyway by simply clicking the "Continue" button once the usual countdown is over, and I have AdBlock and AdBlock Plus extensions installed so I wouldn't be able to see those Ads anyway even if I wanted to.
I've been trying to figure this out myself for couple days now by tinkering various of things in the settings, but the Norton 360's settings interface is not very friendly for users that aren't used to it. (there are guides that helps people to figure out what each setting does, but since the interface changes almost on yearly basis, those guides are usually outdated and useless). I even tried to shut down the whole Norton 360 (firewall and auto-protect) while trying to access the Linkbucks, but it STILL detects that trojan.adclicker file and blocks my access to the site.
Unless that trojan.adclicker file is something that infested the Linkbucks site just recently, then I know that the Linkbucks is safe to access when taking proper precautions, because I've been accessing it for years now.
