Live Update Failing

Since the update to Norton 360 20.3.1.22 I when I run Live Update I the 'Check for updates' succeeds but the 'Download updates' fails. I have reset my PC on multiple occasions but still get the same problem.

Same here.  Is this 'FAILED' suppose to be an error message?  That is what it look like.

My program is checking for updates, but won't do the next two steps of downloading and

processing.  I'm running Vista Home Premium and have both IE and Chrome loaded as

browers.  Unfortunately, this computer is on dial up so reloading the whole program may be

hard.  Theresa

There is a norton side server glitch of some sort and only one update - reputation revocation is not being downlaoded and processed.  There is no need for any onw to do aythingto try tofix this - because you cannot fix it.  The fix has to come on the Norton side - just continue to run LiveUpdte from time to time durng the day and when it is fixed - the reputation revocatiopn list will be updated.

Thank you for that info. I kind of figued out the problem on my own I kind of figured it was a server issue.. After I realized that partial updates were uploading but the reputation ones were not. I was going to post a warning however, looks like its already here. :smileyvery-happy:

Glad to see not on my side.  Wonder why symantec can't send a blanket notification?  I will just live with additional 3048,3 errors.

LiveUpdate is failing for me also, June 7, 2013.    First try gave me 7 of 10 updates and 3 failed.  Rurun Live updates both before and after computer restart: same three failing.

Me as well too.

Just tried another Live Update and everything worked fine. Seems like problem solved.
