I just installed NISM 4 from Comcast. When I run updates I get an error that says "The product registry folder could not be found. Try re-installing your Symantec products."
I have done the remove symantic files with a re-install. I am running the OS X 10.6.8.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Sorry for the problems. Please run the following tools:
- Download GatherSymantecInfo.zip from:
ftp://ftp.symantec.com/misc/tools/mactools/GatherSymantecInfo.zip
- Expand GatherSymantecInfo.zip by double clicking on it.
- In GatherSymantecInfo folder, double-click GatherSymantecInfo.command.
- When prompted, enter your computer user password. If you don't see a prompt for your password, then you need to restart your computer--this is a bug in Snow Leopard that sometimes causes a blank Terminal window to appear.
- When prompted for a subscription key, simply press return.
- Please contact me privately on the forums via private message with your e-mail address. I will contact you via e-mail with instructions to send me the SymantecInfo.zip file that is generated.
Thanks,
Ryan
