Live update very slow

Yes, also UK based and no problems today.  Would have been nice if they'd at least announced the problem and saved people taking their own actions, re-installing etc, and wasting their time.

I'm UK based, seems to be running OK this morning. Hope we do not have any more repeats of this issue - it has occurred before more than once - identical issue.

I guess I'll add my "me too".

I started seeing this issue over 12 hours ago, and as other have mentioned, it seems to be getting worse. I'm sure it'll be resolved at some point on Norton's end ... no need to re-install or try additional troubleshooting ... I just wasted my time last night

'If you are experiencing a LiveUpdate failure error when running manual LiveUpdate, please try to run LiveUpdate again in 24 hours. Please be aware that your PC is still protected.' Banner at top of support page. This morning was only the Product Update section causing problems. Tried a few minutes ago the actual updates themselves very slow, comes up with 'Not required', Product updates still also causing problems so had to cancel as this did finally complete but took over 21 mins longer than the normal 1 minute. https://community.norton.com/en/forums/live-update-stuck-checking-product-updates#comment-8506743 my posting thread this morning. Support reckoned this reported issue would be solved in a couple of hours FIVE hours ago. Looks as though Norton have major problems.

Same problem. Gets stuck on processing product updates. Eventually, (and I mean eventually - after about 30 mins) it goes through to completed and all goes green.

Definitely looks to be a problem at Norton's end. I would not mess about with my installation for now, I have a feeling it'll be mysteriously sorted soon.

I agree: the live update (check for product update) feature just sits there and shows: processing Tue and Wed Jun 15 and Jun 16, 2021

I got on Live Chat and was told to uninstall and reinstall.....

Then I got on Live Chat with another tech and he told me the server is having a problem.

Another bad mark for Norton is there status page:  status.norton.com   it is always showing all green when it is obvious the product update server is having a problem.

Cmon Norton get it together!
