I have 2012 version, running on Windows XP. Use a dial up service.
For six days smart virus def fail to complete. Liveupdate is turned on, pulse updates are on, the date is correct in system and have cleaned out the logs. Have rebooted and tried to run it numerous times. I am not getting any error message code. Sometimes it does not run, but never for this long.
Tried to run an updated version, runs setup, then downloads, gets to 50%, never goes past that, but the time keeps increasing, 3 hours, then 4 hours, my computer times out. I know I use a dial up, but come on.
Don't know what else to do. Have looked at the solutions for this problem, but don't see anything that will work for me.
