Greetings,
After you run LiveUpdate, are your virus definitions current?
To pinpoint which updates are failing, please run LiveUpdate in Interactive Mode as shown in this document:
http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/sharedtech.nsf/docid/2003072214183613
Let us know which updates fail and whether you see any error codes (for example, LU1812). You can click each update that fails to see the error code for that particular failure.
Ok, I tried following the steps in the link you provided, but everything was already set that way, and I was unable to find any information for you.
However, not to cop out on you, I had also emailed technical support, and they returned my email telling me to run the updates manually, following this link : http://service1.symantec.com/Support/norton2008.nsf/docid/2007090100014179
When I went to this link, I clicked "Run it now"
It downloaded and installed the updates, and everything is now fixed.
I'm not sure what was wrong or how it was fixed, but it is.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused you, but thank you for the effort to help. I really appreciate it, and if I run into any more problems, I'll be back!!
Thanks again!
