[At-first I feel Happy to have saved what I wrote. My session here at Norton’s Discussion Board logged me off, without warning! Here I wrote: ] Hello, Norton Community. I still use a Power Macintosh G4, with its comfortable 640 MB of RAM. [As a-little aside, please tell me this: “Why should I upgrade? I’m comfortable with my Mac G4.” Upgrade, Upgrade, Upgrade … endlessly, it seems. My money is too hard-won to dispose-with so readily.] Onto my Subject. Today, which is 16 January, I used LiveUpdate v3.5 (049). It claims to have found a-whopping 51.1 MB of New Virus Definitions. (51.1 MB is Hefty, yes?) But when I started Norton Antivirus v10.1.2 (001), I was told under Virus Definitions Info that the Total Virus Definitions didn’t increase by one, even. The Total Virus Definitions stayed pegged at 75,939, solidly! (Please remember that this happened after a 51.1 MB download. Yes, I keep a record of the Number of Viruses about-which Norton knows!) As a-result I feel that Norton Antivirus v10.1.2 (001) is screwy! Is there an explanation of this behavior that I cannot guess? What is happening, please? Thank you.
