Location of Virus Definition Files

Hi,

 

I need to know where updated definition files are held on the client PC. I know on Symantec products it's in a folder called 'VirusDefs' - is this the same for Norton360 v5 ?? The exact location would be helpful - I run a small script that checks client PC's for up to date AV - it works based on location/file date hence me wanting to know where the virus defs are.

Ya, its same even for N360 5.0.

If you require the complete location it would be under "C:\Documents and Settings\Application data\3C0....(GUID)\Norton\N360\Definitions\VirusDefs\"Latest Date"
